You can apply Aloe Vera (good for burning) or any remedies for skin burning (from too much sun bathing) or apply the white egg on the burned area it will help for a bit, let your hands all coverd by the white eggs.

I understand that the active substance in chilis dissolves in fat, not water (hence drinking yoghurt lassi with a curry is better than drinking water for cooling the mouth). Don't know if this would work on the hands, but worth trying - maybe oil or butter would help?

I am not for sure...But I would think maybe soaking in cool water and then use a good hand lotion. I use latex gloves when I cut onions or peppers and then just throw them away. It saves your hands from oders and dryness. Just be sure you don't have a latex allergy! If you do, There are other types of kitchen gloves that don't contain latex!

Wash them real good, keep them away from your face, resist the urge to scratch your face, eyes, nose, you could be in trouble if you get this in your eyes, it's a caustic acid and could blind you.

Wash real good and wait awhile to make sure you got it all. The next time you mess with this wear rubber gloves.

the peppers are a base, so you would want a mild acid to neutralize it . . .

you could use a little lemon juice to soak your hands . .

or you could try to absorb the liquid from the chilis - cover your hands with flour . . .
