My friend said he had been popping all weekend and was now tired. I asked if that meant drinking or drugs, but he never replied and promptly ignored the question.
He has gone offline and i cant seem to get in touch on the phone or anything- is he alright?

I would take that as popping pills. I would try and go where he is to check on him.

You pop pills, so he probably meant drugs
