i have short hair ( little below my ears) and i want loose waves. I've already washed my hair, so now im just waiting.

I have the same length. I have found that loose waves in short hair, not the best way to go. Try curling the ends of your hair inward; it will frame your face very nicely.

I use a leave-in conditioner, and gel. After I blowdry, I use a 3/4" curling iron. Then run my fingers through it, and spritz with hairspray.

Get your rollers out and set you hair in the largest rollers possible with some setting lotion and then let it air dry

i would just use a large curler and let if fall in loose curls. spray it with hair spray, then gently curl them with a comb so that they fall as loosely as you want
