First of all.........don't go out with another guy out of spite or pure loneliness. He will be a rebound project and you don't want to do that to him. Instead, find something that sparks your interests and allows you to better yourself. Join a gym, take a class or find a new hobby. Also, hang out with family and good friends. You need this time to deal with your break-up!

my suggestion... is give your self some time to think about YOU... granted the relationship is over between your bf and you... but it is so much better for you to just be free and single for a bit... then decide if this next person you are thinking about is TRUELY the one person you want to commit your self to. You have plenty of time to live life... do it now while you are young. Perhaps someone more special than you have ever dreamed about will come along and knock you off your feet. as far as getting someone out of your head my suggestion is to stay busy... hang out with friends.. keep your mind off of him . Best wishes.

Sounds to this old guy like your through the grieving process already and ready to move on to bigger and brighter relationships. Just be sure that you are not trying to get into a relationship on the rebound and take your time getting to emotionally involved.

i'm sure you did care for him, but you were only together for 3 months. that really isn't enough time to truly care for someone anyway. the guy sounds like he has some serious commitment issues. you are better off without him anyway.

Apparently he doesn't want to be your boyfriend. Find a guy who wants a future with you. Was that so hard to figure out?

You dealt with your loss by crying, and now you're through crying, and ready to move onto something new. It sounds to me like you're doing just fine.
