That should have been spent! That's my fault. Thank you for the first answer, but I really need to know who said the second. I don't care if you can disprove them. I don't even need to know what they mean, I just need to find out who said them. Thanx.

I'm not sure about that second quote, but the first one is David Livingstone.

I'm not altogether certain who said that although I can offer a line of thought by someone else to contradict both those statements.

The following may be used to refute the first:
