Jeff,
I fully agree. I thought the same thing. The guy made millions off of telling lies and people sucked it up. I will never see the movie, read the book, or donate any money towards him. God help him because he is like Judas, only God can help him now.

It took a lot of guts to write the da-Vinci-code, there are thirty or more scriptures that someone did not want people to know about , If people call blasphemy and false prophesy, then all scriptures including those in the bible are false to, because they were all written by the same people, If we are not allowed to question and bring forth facts that show some truth, then how can we justify only one side of the story. One day mankind will be in total shock when they find out what secrets where really held back. The truth is coming, and I just wonder how many are ready for it, and how many will be able to handle it we will see.

Oh, lighten up will ya? It's just a fictional novel. Dan Brown never claimed he was writing a true story or implying it might be true. Playing devil's advocate here, the book speculates that Jesus fell in love, marries and has a child. He doesn't become a serial killer, drug dealer or pedophile.

strange to say it blasphemes
because hypothetically if the Davinci code was true and there is documented facts about the life of Jesus that has been hidden from us ...
then this would put aside all doubt of his existence
but
it would mean he was mortal and not of God
now i dont know about you
but i happen to believe that if Jesus was proven once and for all to exist ... that would be awsome
but sadly some people would be very hurt and upset at him only being a man ... all be it a wonderful man

The DaVinci Code as a book and movie is just fiction.
Anyone believing it as fact is a fool.

TDVC is a badly written work of fiction, based on another badly written work of fiction, the bible.
Never saw the movie, heard it sucked, though.
Blaphemy (sic) is in the mind (or at least what passes for one) of the believer only.

Lighten up. It is a interesting NOVEL. The movie wasn't that great though. Angels and Demons is a lot better though.

The Davici Code is better fiction than the bible.
Latter days, ha, ha, ha. You don't even believe your own bible... the latter days were supposed to have happened during the lives of those who herd Jesus.
"Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." -- Matthew16:28
"But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God." -- Luke 9:27
"Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation." -- Matthew 23:36
"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." -- Matthew 24:34
"Nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." -- Matthew 26:64
"Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power." -- Mark 9:1
"Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done." -- Mark 13:30
"And ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." -- Mark 14:62
"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled." -- Luke 21:32
"Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?" -- John 21:22
It didn't happen then, it's not going to happen now. Ha, ha.
