How do I keep my little, red rooster from awaking too early each morning?

My neighbours are complaining and saying I'm spoiling it too much.

only way to let any bird to sleep longer is to delay dawn by covering the cage. It is a birds job to greet each new day in song.

Roosters are nature's alarm clock! I guess you could make him a little bitty black eye mask to wear at night so he couldn't see when the sun was coming up.
