Well, lately, i think ive been crying too much. everything makes me want to cry, and its not always when im on my period, ive already paid attention to that, it has nothing to do w/ that, but like, me and my exboyfriend were dating for over a year, and the last four months were on and off, but every little thing made me bawl my eyes out. We still tell eachother everything, and were still friends, but every little thing he does (like flirting w/ other girls, ect) makes me want to bawl. and w/ my friends, even the slightest little thing makes me want to cry. And a few days ago, i just cried my eyes out for no reason, i guess it was b/c i felt alone? but i honestly dont know why. is this any kind of sign of depression??

It can be Stephanie. It can also be your hormones. Why not get a medical check up and talk to your physician while you are there? He or she will have information and questions you need. It would also help to work on your self esteem. You have been hurt by a loss (your ex boyfriend) and it is time to deal with it and start to move on. Take a class like yoga or tennis, something to get in touch with yourself and make you feel good. Best Wishes.

Don't be worried about being depressed. It happens. And, right now you're vulnerable because of what you lost and because you have no one. Everyone goes through some sort of depression in their life. If you feel like you need to cry, cry. It doesn't mean it has anything to do with your period cause like you said, you would know that you were just having period side-effects. It could be simple. You feel like you are alone and don't have anyone. Try to occupy your time. Do things you enjoy to get your mind off things and clear your head. Take a bath, relaxing things. If there is alot of things on your mind, write them down. Simple exercises really help you feel better. Give it a couple weeks to a month for you to get back on track, if you aren't feeling better, maybe consult a therapist or psychologist. Feel better! ♥

this is a sign of depression. i am more concerned about the fact that it has gone on so long, than the actual crying itself. everyone has days like this, but if it has been four months, it is probably time to talk with your doctor about it.

Yes it can be a sign of depression. Go to your general practitioner or gynecologist and they can recommend lifestyle changes and/or anti depressants that work really well. I had issues with crying all the time and my gynecologist put me on lexapro....no more crying!! Yeah hoo!!

You have symptoms of depression. Uncontrollable is one of them - I have been there. Talking to someone and medication can do wonders; it did for me! Don't wait another day, make an appointment - you'll be glad you did.

if it has been 4 months then you need to go and see your doctor and talk about this. are you sleeping/ eating ok? are you alright in your life apart from concerning your boyfriend? if the answer to any of these is yes you need to talk to a professional about it.
