Please use your remote control to watch a sport that you enjoy, or at least understand. Sorry that swimming, rock climbing, biking and roller blading aren't on TV much. Nothing wrong with them, just not a lot of folk enjoy watching them.
I watch golf. I watched it long before I started to play the game.
You need to understand that something that is different from what you enjoy doesn't make it stupid, it just makes it different.
I understand that golf isn't a physically challenging as the activities that you listed. It is more of an individual discipline and skill sport. Some of us like that, some don't. If you don't, there's no need to rip it, just use that remote control of yours and find another program, something that you like.
Besides, if you are swimming, rock climbing, riding on the bike, doing tricks on your roller blades on the ramps, playing football and baseball, where do you find time to watch TV at all?
PS, in your spare time you may want to brush up on your spelling, punctuation and sentence syntax.

You need to go out and try golf my friend.....you'll hit that one perfect shot and be hooked like the rest of us.
And you might want to re-think calling golf a "poor excuse for a sport" when you openly admit to being on the swim team, enjoying rock climbing, bike riding, and roller blade tricks.....some people look at those the same way you look at golf.
A "sport" is a physical contest with a scoring system that determines a winner and a loser. It doesn't have anything to do with how physically taxing it is.
In my opinion, the hardest things to do in all of sports are to hit a baseball thrown by a ML pitcher, and hit a golf ball straight.

I guess you've never played.. I used to think the same way, but it was because I thought I'd suck and people would make fun of me. My father-in-law took me to a par 3 and I had a great time. I started at the ripe old age of 42, and have been golfing for fun for the last 13 years. I'll never be a pro, but every once in a while you hit that great shot that keeps you coming back. You watch golf because the pros screw up just like you do.
Who watches baseball? Now that's boring!

I watch quite a bit...I also play quite a bit of golf. There's a lot on TV, because there's quite a bit of interest by people of all walks of life. Tiger Woods has broght more diversity to the sport than any one thing!
It's a great sport that teaches people important life lessons and values.

You have never played. I have played a lot of different sports as well. Golf challenges you than any other sport. In golf you are playing against the course and yourself..

Golf is fun to play, but usually boring to watch for those who don't play or like it. Most golfers usually watch it to see the pros play and what they can do to improve their own game.
Trust me, there are plenty of men and women of all ages watching golf.

I'm 14 and I love to play and watch golf.
If you try it you'll love it. I used to hate golf before I started to.

I don't play golf myself but I wonder why golf and people who watch golf make you so angry. Let people enjoy what ever sport they want to.

Enough already with the whining about golf. If you don't like it, don't watch it and please shut up and don't conplain about it to those of us who do. Why are you so interested in ragging us if you don't like it? Move on.
