my girlfriend and her mum and her best pal came home early from a night out and caught me "pleasuring" myself,i did'nt hear them coming into the room cos i was wearing headphones and the seen me in full view,xmas dinner is going to be really awkwaed should i still go?

I think you should go to the dinner as if nothing has happened! But you have to keep in mind that everyone does it. I don't believe that they will bring it up in a conversation at dinner, But you need to talk about this with your girlfriend! You never know she might of liked what she saw!!!!! As for her mom, I am sure she has seen her share of men's body parts so don't even worry about it. It is a part of life to get caught doing things that we wish we hadn't but you live and learn and move on. It really is no big deal so just go on with things as planned! yes it will be little weird but it will be okay!

It really is no big deal, especially if you were in your own house!!! Yeah, it'll be awkward but it'll pass in time!!
If they all have a really good sense of humor make a code word for the incident and turn it into a big big joke that is just for you guys!!!
Hopefully "mum" is not too high strung and understands that this is a common behavior for most young men!!!
At least they caught you with yourself and not with another girl or even more shocking a guy!!!

Whats up with the headphones? Anyway, I would totally talk about this with the people that caught you and make them understand how embarassing it was. Let them know how akward you feel. Chances are they will understand. Lets face it dude, we pleasure ourselves. It is totally natural so don't beat yourself up about it (nice pun)...lol. You will feel so much better after you talk about it. You might want to apologize as well. In a few years you will all have great laugh about it.

yes, you should still go. hold your head high (the one on your neck) and act like nothing happened unless they bring it up. trust me, they were just as mortified as you were.
