You don't tell us your age adn whether or not you have had children. You could have some bloating going on, but my guess is that it is your posture and weak core muscles, coupled with the way you stand. Try this. Stand up. Roll your shoulders so the shoulder blades go down your back towards your butt. Life the sternum, the bone at the middle of the front of the ribs. Watch the belly shrink. Yoga is excellent for posture and there are many good dvd's available. Balance ball and other core strengthening exercises also help. If you had kids, well, there is likely to be a little extra there in the tummy. Work on your posture and view yourself as a fertility goddess with a little round abdomen, rather than trying to be a super model pencil thin person.

It could be that the way your fat is distrubuted around your body. everybody is different, but perhaps most of your fat goes to your belly as opposed to other areas. The fact that you are a little short just makes it seem to be worst than it actually is. If you are really interested in making it smaller, then my advice is to watch your diet. Just cut down on some of the snacks, chocolates, extra sugar in your tea or coffee and all the other unhealthy stuff. Then you must do some exercise, maybe some jogging. 20 minutes light jogging or walking two or three times a week is sufficient. Any ab work is useless though unless you control your diet.

People carry fat in different places. No matter how much weight you lose, there's always gonna be that one part of your body that frustrates you. I always have a puffy belly, even when I'm thinner. For belly fat, the logical solution is sit-ups. Fortunately, a little tummy fat is easy to conceal with clothes. Cheer up and be proud of the skinny, beautiful rest-of-you!

Perhaps you have issues with yourself? You sound like you need some guidance try your GP, I'm not suggesting eating disorders but the way you view yourself affects what you see in the mirror. If you need to tighten your tummy try some gentle exercise but not if you have a bad back, in which case go to your GOP and get a referral to a fitness scheme where they can properly advise you on the do's and dont's. Finally, if you don't have a problem with your tummy then no one else should. You may have some water retention again your GP can help. If the tummy is hard GO AND SEE YOUR GP. The best way to deal with your worries.

I'm sure that you are not fat, maybe you just need to tone up. Why don't you start doing some exercises as this will tone up your belly and after a while you should start to see a difference

That sounds to me like you might have some body image issues there honey. A bit of a belly is absolutely natural and some days of the month it will be worse than others.

A decent outfit and no one will ever know what you're hiding underneath.

But you have to learn to love what you have sweetheart and that might mean you need some professional help to get you to see yourself with love.

the shorter a person is the more any weight seems to center around the belly. even if you dont hav a large amount of fat on your body any excess at all will center around your belly and give you that bulge. dont sweat it, its normal for smaller persons.

Fat is being OVERweight. If your not OVERweight they you are NOT fat :)
It just sounds like you are Out of shape <---! (with your bit of a belly)
So either start doing some sit ups....or get a Taeboe video or whatever type you like from home...OR get to the gym :)
Do something K? xxxooo

You're not fat. You're just human. I know very underweight people with fat on their tummy. My suggestion, and it's not easy, but love yourself, which means accepting yourself fully, and you won't care if you have fat on your belly or not.
