Why is it that when I wake up, I look skinny, but right after I eat something my tummy (belly) looks fat, like I'm 100 pounds?- and then when I sleep, I look skinny again?

Nicole, please get help. You have a distorted body image. You are very very dangerously underweight. Do you make yourself throw up? Do you use laxatives a lot to 'get rid of food?

Please go to that site. There is a body mass calculator that will tell you if your weight it ok. There is a self test to see if you have an eating disorder. Please be honest when you do this. No one will know the results but you. If you find that you have a problem, please go to your parents. If you don't feel you can do that, call your doctor, talk to your school nurse, guidance counselor, minister or rabbi. You are doing damage to your body at a time when it needs to be growing. Please get help NOW. If you can't find any of those people to talk to, look up the crisis line in the nearest city to where you live. This is very very serious stuff. DON'T WAIT!

Just because you have a fast metabolism. You eat food, it goes to your stomach and then it's gone. That's a good thing. BUT...I'm similar to you. I'd like to gain a a little weight.
