Its normal! It may even turn gray. Just be sure to keep it clean by rinsing your mouth every so often.

It's normal for it to be sore for a few days but if it continues I would call the dentist back on Monday and be evaluated. Not sure what the white spot is. Keep doing the salt water and try to keep food out of the hole.

the white you are seeing may be a packing they put in after your tooth was extracted,,, pain is ok as long as not too bad, don't swish your mouth too hard with the water you don't want to get a dry socket, if your not feeling better in a couple days go back to see your dentist

Check with the dentist who pulled your tooth. It sounds like you may have some infection in the gum. Normally, extracted teeth don't produce pain afterward, so don't let it go too long.

The white is a scab. You could try a warm salt water rinse.
