They both live way up above us, they both reward the just and punish the wicked. They both know if you've been good or bad. Do you think saint Pete checks Santa's list as well? Why do you believe in the christian god but not Santa. It's kind of immature to believe in both, don't you think.

Actually the tradition of Santa comes from the ancient Nordic people. These people believed in the Norse Gods, and on the coldest day of winter the Father of the Norse Gods has chosen this day to go out and do good deeds and give gifts to atone for being such a jerk the rest of the year. When Christianity was forced upon the Nordic people, this tradition was too hard to get rid of, so the church of the time did what is always does and incorporated this tradition into Christianity. Have you not ever wondered why Santa looks like Odin of the Norse Gods, big and fat with a flowing beard, or did you ever wonder what Christmas trees have to do with the birth of Christ, don't know about you but I have never seen any pine trees that grow naturally in the middle east.

Saint Nicholas had the religion to give gifts to poor & needy children. Santa is his nick name. And we have a fiction story about Santa & his raindeer. The real story is about giving. Also the Christians like to remember Jesus Christ who was given to us from Father God. Jesus is the Way Truth & Life. Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of Lights.

Santa Claus and God are completely different. Santa Claus is based on St. Nicholas and just gives gifts to children. He isn't real just like the easter bunny isn't real. God, on the other hand, is a figure of worship. No one worships Santa Claus. Santa Claus isn't any kind of savior. They are differnt. Hope that helped!

Dear Distabmaster,

May I recommend to you that you read the Bible to find out about the Lord Jesus Christ. Santa is a children's fable. The Bible is God's word. The fact of the matter is that if you do not have a substitute to pay for your sins then you will have to pay for them in the lake of fire (hell). The last day is fast approaching. Read the Bible and pray that the Lord might have mercy on you.

Yes, it is immature to actually believe in BOTH, that is why Christians believe only in God, but "joke around" with Santa, for fun. lol.
