I just read a inter- net story about a conferance of So. & Latin american countries & the 700mile fence we want to build. cuba ( south america ?) argentina, chile,Salvadore &of course Mexico say Bush Is wrong. Salvadore says there are 2.5 million of their people & we should be helping the illegal ones get their papers.Europe is having the same problem with illegal African people. so what if a few people trying to sneak into this country die.When are we going to defend our own borders & tell the world enough is enough. Dont you think we should take care of the people who came here legal & forget the ones who dont.

Haha. You will see that there is a huge difference between what is happening in Europe and what is happening the Americas. The Africans risk life and limb to enter Europe and are refugees, not "illegal immigrants".
However, there are cases of people trying to break into a country illegally from, for example, Russia. They attempt to come over to Finland, however, nearly all, if not all, are caught by the border guard.

I don't understand where any other country thinks they have the right to tell us what we can and cannot do in our country. All illegals need to go to their own countries either voluntarily or through deportation. If they leave on their own they can immediately apply for the proper visas and come back legally if we have to deport them then they should have to wait at least 10 years to come back and of course they must have proper documentation at that time. This is for all countries not just the ones to the south. If we did this there would be more jobs and it would be much easier to take care of the ones who need help in this country. I could go on and on but I will stop here. This is one of my pet peeves.

My great grandfather came to the U.S. in the 1920's. He waited, filled out papers and forms, took test after test to prove that he was educated and THEN he became a citizen. What is so difficult to understand about this process? This is the rule, there should be no exceptions. If that means we need to build a replica of the Great Wall of China along our border with Mexico, SO BE IT!

Look you have to know that from Mexico down to Argentina building a border fence in the border between Mexico and the USA have trumped their plans to get rid of their poor and sick people to the USA. Do you know that they, the government of these Nations are so inept and corrupted that they rather send their citizen to the USA than to create laws to better their citizen in their respectable countries. All these Nation are a shame to Humanity and we should take them to the United Nations so they get investigated for their actions. They should all be accuse of being inhumane to their citizen.

well i certainly agree with Jessica. My son lives in Florida,and has a girlfriend who is from Jamaica. She came here legally,and just recently got her permanent resident status. She has been waiting 16 yrs. to become a U.S. citizen. No damn illegal should be able to get in the line ahead of her. she should get to first before someone who broke the law to get here.

It's our Country!
The illegal aliens need to return to their countries of origin quietly and safely or they will be deported.
When they do and only after the do. They can apply through proper channels and wait in line and come back LEGALLY!
Anyone who thinks otherwise is UN-American!
Why should they jump in front of the line just because they're law breakers!
Americans do not Reward illegal aliens for illegal behavior!
