A question for spirit guide believers only please?

How do you get intouch with your spirit guide to begin to communicate with him or her?

Well a large part of it is discernment. You can do some things to cut down on the "interference" but a lot times you will get a clear message and then if you try to have a lengthy conversation, you will start to get imitators that are only pretending to be the same guide you were just talking to. Most times this comes with a feeling of confusion and uncertainty. One key is that your guide will never come and talk to you to boost your ego. If you get communication that is saying how wonderful you are and that no one is a better person than you, cut off the communication. It is best to let your guide choose when to communicate with you. This makes interference less likely. Don't be discouraged if you are only getting one or two sentences at a time. This method doesn't give other entities a chance at interference. To make initial contact with your spirit guide, just basically say out loud or mentally that you would like to be more connected to your spirit guide and that you are open to communicating with them. You can ask for a sign from them, letting them know that they have heard you. For protection, you can call on Archangel Michael and ask that he removes all negative entities from yourself and your surroundings and clears the 'channel' for direct communication with your guide. Developing a relationship with the Archangels is very beneficial when it comes to spirit communication and spirituality. Don't call on your guide if you are afraid. Fear is always the worst enemy. If you send out a communication from yourself that has fear attached to it, you are basically signaling negative entities. It is good to work with Archangel Michael, asking that he helps you to remove your fears. By the way, the one thing that negative spirits/entities cannot imitate are signs. Only higher beings can send you signs. It is the one thing that you can trust that can't be interfered with by lower level entities.

That depends on th way you know you have one. If you see him/her [most likely him unless you think it could be a passed Family member] a good chance is just trying to talk to him/her. You won't hear a verbal answer, you'll feel an answer. Most of which are in a dream like place or voice. And if that doesn't work, think of all the dreams you've had that make you feel like you have one. Some people do, and some don't so many people won't know that their dreams can relate to their spirit guide. If you can't think of any that relate, then try ouija. Since I don't know you or how you feel the presnce or who you think it may be that's all the help I can give you. Sorry, I hope it helps.

He is always there. I merely shift my mental perception slightly and I can hear him. Oh and ask a question...that helps. He has literally 'whacked' me on the back of the head when I start to do the wrong thing.

Oh the first time I learned of him was in a dream. I had been meditating for a few years prior and was open to finally hear him. He had been there all along though.

I am sure it's to do with prayers. I was praying for protection two years ago, that's when it all started, I started feeling presence in my room at night. I prayed for me my son and his mother, this Spirit guide gave my son's mother a lower back rub while I was at work, it touch me nicely on my head, I felt my Spirit guide around many times in the past two years now, not as much now, but she pops in, mostly to wake me, so I can tend to my son when he's in need. One day my son slept on the floor, and roll around and was sleeping on his blanket, well I was awaking to my blanket being slid off me very slowly and gently, I woke up to see a completely white shadow at the foot of my bed, and it appear to have a figure of a woman, and it glowed, I sense what it was thinking, it thoughts" He can see me" I pull my blanket back to cover me, and left it there and went to sleep. Two days later it returned and move my extra pillow and the flashlight that was under the pillow, and put them both on my feet, and it took a blanket off me again, I didn't feel anything that night, I rolled over against my son's mother, the blanket it rolled up into a ball and put it on the floor to where it stood two nights before, it did this so I would know that I wasn't dreaming when I seen it that night. Another night, as I slept, my Spirit sense it against the wall behind my new girlfriend, as my son's mother left, it was looking down at her, my Spirit sense it's thoughts, " this isn't the same girl" it was thinking. The last time I felt it's presence was the first time I spoke to it, I was asleep, my Spirit sense it coming through the roofand it floated just above me, I put up my blanket to divide us because it was to close, I heard myself say go away leave me alone, it spoke back, She had the most beautiful voice I every heard, my first thought was she's an Angel, She said two sentences, about seven words in each, at that very moment I knew what the first half was that she said, but it was so comforting to hear her voice, that I wipe out the rest of the way, woke up hours later, remember everything except for what she said, that bothers me now that I said go away.
I believe the best way to tune in is sincere prayers, I have always all my life seen or felt presences of ghost and Spirits, perhaps some were Angels. They are spiritual they can hear your prayers, I am sure of it. pray for protection, it has to be heart felt, compassion, sincere.

Meditate and find your own inner voice. This is not an external guide but the logical side of your consciousness. There is no place for external deities and guides. You have all you need within you.

You can look into yourself, your conscience won't let you do what is bad, this may be your little voice that comes from inside of you.

Also you can pray for the manifestation, but if you are not meant to see this spirit you won't.

We all have a guide and protector to help us in this life. Some might want to say it your conscious but its not but that's how you hear your answers. In your subconscious, your intuition, that little voice. A bad question is: How can I get a new car?

Since you already decided you need a car, you answered the question and didn't leave the answer to your guide.

So ask good questions and be opened to the answers that open your eyes to new possibilities.
