I've had a pain in the left side of my chest for all most 24 hours now. Its kind of a sharp pain whenever I breath in. The pain is sometimes lessened if I lay down on my left side. My mother said it might be gas or something, since all I ate yesterday was baked beans and grilled cheese. She said she gets pains like that sometimes too, but its usually in the right side of her chest. I took gas-x or something like it, but your only suppose to take 4 of them with in 24 hours and I took the allowed 4. It started around 2 or 3pm yesterday and hasn't gone away. I haven't done anything to pull a muscle, but I do smoke and I am overweight. My mom says that even though I 21, I'm not too young to have a heart attack, especially with my weight. I don't know, I'd think I'd know if I was having a heart attack, but I was just wondering what else it could be, if not gas.

Chest pains are NEVER something to fool around with. Do you have any idea how many people end up dying from heart attacks because they thing it is indigestion, just like you think, and they delay going to get medical help! Also, did you know that the symptoms of heart attacks in women are much more subtle than those in men? If you are waiting to fall over, it probably won't happen until it is too late. People of ANY age can have heart attacks. If you are overweight, your chances are higher than the general population. People also have mini-strokes and heart attacks that don't kill them, called silent heart attacks, but part of the heart muscle is permanently killed. Is it worth fooling around with the whole rest of your life. You would not take out your own tonsils or let one of us take out your tonsils, but with something as serious as your very life, you are asking rank amateurs. Please go get checked out. Better to be safe than dead.

Often the anguish is moderate however usually it is so unhealthy I can barley take a breath. It additionally feels find it irresistible begins on the backside of my rib cage after which travels up my part because it slowly is going away. I used to be informed through my health care provider it used to be "developing" pains. Then whilst I used to be older, I introduced it up once more and he stated it might be a muscle unsolicited mail. It's been months considering the fact that I've had one. With me, the anguish best final a couple of seconds and on the such a lot a minute or 2. They additionally best appear to occur a couple of times in an afternoon whilst i do have them. I could advocate that in the event that they arise extra most commonly, a couple of occasions in an afternoon I'd see any individual approximately it.
