Is that good or bad... Is that his way of saying I'm not interested... He did it again while watching tv saying you don't have to stay. We would be close to eachother and then he would back off and be cold. At the end I hugged him and he hugged me back but tighter... I have no idea what to think...
what do u all think.... he likes me? he likes me not?

Sounds like he's testing the ground. He wants to be close to you but he's making sure he doesn't tread where you don't want him to be. In otherwords, he doesn't want you to feel pressured. I think he likes you, and has great respect for you, especially if he's giving you an out like that. Perhaps you should ask him why he keeps saying that, and see what he says. Your gut should tell you if you can take it at face value.

a good strong hug is good but it doesn't really mean anything do you kiss and hug or just hug? If you kiss and hug he likes you and is maybe looking out for you that he doesn't make you feel that he is moving to fast, he could be a gentleman waiting for you to say something or to shy to make an advance on you but talk or take action either one will not hurt you if your really feeling this guy.

I will tell you what I did. My b/f works crazy hours. Sometimes he has to get up at 4 in the morning to go to work. And if I see him the night before, I will ask him if he needs / wants to go home early. So, in your case, he could just simply be considerate and polite. Don't read into everything too much.

First of all you should not be the driver on a date. Call me old fashioned but I think that is crucial. Stop going to his place and driving him around. Do not be desperate which is what it seems like.

I think he was being respectful. He was putting the ball in your court. Why does it have to be more than that? If you wanted to go up, go up. If you want to stay & cuddle & watch TV, then stay & cuddle. Don't make it more than it is. He was letting you control what level it went to. Hug him & kiss him & tell him thank you for letting you set the pace!
He likes you, but even better than that HE RESPECTS YOU!

He might be afraid that you think he justs wants to get into your pants, so he's trying to reassure you that he isn't by saying it's ok if you want to leave. Or......he could just be a jerk.. It's really hard to say. Give him a chance though.

MAybe he's more rational than you seem to be. Maybe he wants to get to know you before he sleeps with you.
