I'm holding off on IE7 and Windows Media Player 11. When things are new there are always a lot of "bugs" to work out first. I'll wait awhile. Its best to wait a few months so all the errors can be fixed.
I tried the beta mail of hotmail and went back to how it was. I liked the old look better.

No, because I tested all of the IE7 beta programs an I had no trouble with the beta so I installed the final version of IE7 onto Windows XP Pro.,
The experience I had with hotmail mail beta was a real disaster. An I removed and went back to the old hotmail.
Have the feeling that Yahoo Mail beta is a copy of the same Hotmail Beta an after the disaster trying to delete or find my mail I would never install the yahoo mail beta.
The IE7 I find is excellent with advanced security. People complain about it being very slow. Likewise I found it slow so I just removed one of their new security programs for "phishing". (Actually I just turned it off). Made web surfing very slow, becasue it would scan every webpage to see if it was real or rogue. If you do on-line banking or purchase items with your credit card then this is excellent security even thou the scan process is slow. I don't bank on line or purchase on line.
Turning off the round yellow ball at the bottom part of IE 7 tray improved the speed of surfing.
One world of warning, if your Windows platform is not valid don't even try to attempt to update or download this program, because Microsoft uses their WGA, tool atleast four time with the download. Four times while removing your old version. An again for times while installing... So for sure they will find any key that is stolen. And then they will stop the download, plus they have your IP an all of your system hardware. An if you reside in the United States, they can charge you with a crime.
Most countries outside of the United States have a real hatred for Microsoft and they can care less, if Microsoft want to have you arrested.

I have held off, there are always a few bugs in almost all new software. I have also realized almost all new programs ie- Yahoo messenger, Yahoo tool bar and Goggle Earth use a lot lot lot more system resources than previous versions. I think IE7 will really drag resources so you will have to upgrade your hardware soon.

I woudln't even think about using IE6 or IE7. Switch to Firefox, and you'll be much happier, and MUCH safer.

It has much better secirity, and it's free, and open source, which mean people constantly improve on design, and add a lot of plugins and themes that can help you do thing quicker..
They also have a mail client call Thunderbird.
