I am under the psych team, and have tried many different meds. None of which work. The team have tried to help but I still feel depressed and suicidal with it. Any sugestions on how to cope with this?

Your not alone i have it to, i also see people too. Do anything to get better but i don't think killing yourself will help you . dyeing is the easy way out. if you do get better you will know that it iwas down to you working to help yourself. x x x x

Although you are under the care of the expert team, I would strongly recommend you go back to your own GP and ask him/her what else is on offer. I am sure your GP can make other suggestions and recommendations in addition to those made by your expert team. There are many different medications to choose from and it may well be the case of finding a suitable one that does work for you for both depression and your 'voice'. You are not alone and should not be alone during your bad times. I would also suggest you talk to the Samaritans if you feel that you are having a bad day. Whatever happens, please try and make sure you get the best access to proper help. I really do wish you all the very best for the future. Alan L.

No you are not alone. It sounds like you want help. The mental health team are the best people to help you, but first they have to diagnose what it is.For this they have to understand your actual experience of the voice(s) and that means you have to describe it to them, exactly how it is for you, no theorising. The best person to speak to is the psychiatrist (doctor) on the team, particularly the consultant.

I notice all these other people are giving you answers, but they do not know the question. From your description and from a little observation, the psychiatrist will be able to say if the problem is obsessional, hallucinatory or just a personal peculiarity, and all these can be helped, and there are a lot of methods to help with but diagnosis comes first. The same solution does not fit all.

No your not alone the voice is with you. Ha Ha

No actually youve got an imbalance thing going on try not to use to many stimulants like caffiene and such. There is a reason you are suicidal maybe you have trouble making freinds. I know it seems an impossible task but look for people that have the same commin instrests as you and maybe that will help. If you live in Indianapolis hit me up we can hang out. Im real nice

Do anything except suicidal thoughts. Sometimes Everyone has depression, I too depressed about many things. But never think of suiciding. Talk to someone who understands you. Talk anything and do as they tell you. Your mood will change if u go to new places and see new faces. Be happy and enjoy the life God gave you.

Also check that you are eating a sensible diet.
It is worrying when this type of thing starts happening. But in time you will become used to it and it won't worry you so much.
Try different antidepressants.
Don't assume the voices are caused by Schitzophrenia - there are other causes.

do u know whose voice it is..........and secondly you are far from alone........ok u need to distract yourself.........and learn techniques to block the voices from your head........head phones and music are a good start. Are the voices telling you bad things or good things.....and are they command voices..........if so you need to gain insight about schizophrenia........it sounds like its not your voice you can hear other wise you wouldnt be under a psych team and have tried different medication.......and to me you sound tortured by these voices........look on the web in uk...theres the schizophrenia fellowship which will offer good advice

Maybe you should try intense Psycho-therapy twice a week. Depending on your diagnosis I cant tell if you need to be on meds or not. Maybe the voice in your head is your own and maybe that is okay.

Accept the voices are there.

Don't try to get rid of them or change them.

Just allow them to say whatever they want, just make sure you don't respond to them.

Many people experience this frequently.
