You don't search for your true love because everytime you do
you look in all the wrong places. Your true love will come. It may be none of those guys and those other guys were probably missing out on a great girl. Your true love will come. I don't think I have found mine yet but we will see if this guy I am dating is really the one!

The first thing you can do to improve this situation is give up the idea of a "true love." This is a wonderful myth that has been perpetrated in Western culture for too long. There are hundreds of people with whom you can have a lasting relationship. Stop looking for that perfect fit. It doesn't exist. We all have flaws. We love each other in spite of them. Good relationships take work, not the luck of discovery.
