can I put my old tabs on my new car?

I just renewed the tabs on my car last week now I getting a new car. CAn I just put the old licence plate on the new one and not get new tabs?

You can, but you still have to get a new registration.

Depends on your state DMV rules.However ,most likely you can.You'll still have to register it ,and transfer the tags.

I know in Ohio, if you do that, the old car has to be out of your name in order to transfer the tags.
