If you just want a car with great MPG see if you can trade your Camry in for another Toyota. It would be much easier.
The Corolla gets about 38 mpg highway. If you purchase this car you may even get some of your money back.
Also the dealer may work with you more if you wanted to purchase something a little more expensive like a Prius.
My suggestion to you is to keep the Camry. It's a great car, highly reliable and low on maintinence. The gas mileage isn't as great as the Civic, but remember the Camry is a larger and more powerful car.
Good luck with whatever you decide on.

You may not have to pay the 5% sales tax again, but it depends on the car dealership. At our dealership in central Illinois, you would not have to pay the tax again but, I know of many around here where you would. Check with your dealership, and see. And by the way the I own a Barcelona Red 2007 Camry they get ok but not great gas mileage so the Civic is a good choice! The Civic gets up to 15mpg more than the Camry. If you have any other questions or comments please email our dealership, at vehicle-experts@hotmail.com

Well unlike Walmart, generally there is no return policy for a car unless it is a Lemon. (Chylser had one for the summer though, they had 10% restocking fee) You would have to trade your new car, against a new Civic, and take the depreciation hit. But Sales tax on new car would be based difference between Camry trade in and Civic price. Same on Excise Tax. Probabably, you will be out $3000+ on Camry on depreciation, because it will be harder to sell as a used car.

There the two very superb automobiles i think of you bought a quite good deal on an exceedingly superb motor vehicle. you may get a sprint greater useful MPG with a civic however the Camry is a greater luxury motor vehicle and has the greater useful powertrain guarantee. they do no longer depreiciate lots in any respect so shop your Camry a 300 and sixty 5 days and in case you nonetheless experience an identical sell it. you will no longer lose to lots in any respect. The Honda will probable fee up on your Camry yet is barely equivalent to a Corolla. Honda won't deal as much as Toyota. In different words your maximum probable no longer gonna get a Honda for $1500 under sticky label. activity fee will maximum probable be greater additionally. you ought to no longer pay greater suitable than sticky label OUT THE DOOR thats tax, call, trip spot, and so on.

No, you pay tax everytime you make a purchase. They can reduce your tax by inflating the price of the camry but it isn't going to help much. I dought that the money you will save on gas will be much of a savings over the cost of paying the tax again. You may be best to stay with the camry. I own a camry and get 30plus on the highway.

unfortunally there is no easy way of dealing with this. Anytime you purchased a car and leave it's very hard to exchange. You may want to go back to the car dealer and talk to them and see if they can do anything about it. I doubt they will but it's worth a try. I have the same experience as you...they turned me down, so hopefully you have better luck than me.
