I just got a new puppy a few weeks ago and i named him Milo. Everyone says that they love it; but i want to know if they really think so, or if they are just being polite. What do you think?

Unoriginal? Where are you all from? I have NEVER heard that name on a dog. That's why i picked it.

In the disney movie milo was the cat. :)

Thanks everyone!

It's a nice name, but a pretty common one.

Danica I think that Milo is a fine name for a dog especially if you like it. Which obviously you do, so don't worry about what others think! It's your puppy~so as long as you are happy with it~don't let others influence you to change it!! Plus since you have had him/her for a few weeks, you would just confuse the puppy if you start calling him/her something else. Leave the name alone and let others worry about names for their own animals!!
You and Milo be happy & have a great time together!!!

In the movie Milo and Otis the cat is named Milo.... I know a few people with dogs named Milo. It's easy to say, not hard to spell and it works! Good luck with "Milo" I hope he's a great dog and gives you everything you need in a new friend!

I like it, its cute! I don't think I've heard it on any other dog besides on the Disney movie, and when I think about it can't remember if Milo was the name of the dog or the cat.
Good luck with your new puppy!

One of the Original Milo's was a champion ancient greek wrestler in the first Olympics. Also Milo's name comes from Miles ( greek) which means soilder. :) very sweet name for a dog.

I think you sopuld get more creative. Milo sound like a name somone could more likly forget but if the dog is a weird type of dog or somthing it could work out.

Milo is SO cute!!! I know this may sound stupid, but it reminds me of the guy from the movie Atlantis: the Lost Empire.
