I live in a small town. I don't belong to any groups. I am a single mom who is in school and I work part time, as a nurse. How the heck will I ever meet someone. The only person I dated since my divorce was someone I worked with and that is now disasterous. I am lonely. I need help.

Well, you might want to try Church singles groups...if you go to church. Or you could try joining clubs or volunteering. Also, although many don't trust it, the internet sometimes works. There are tons of people you can talk to here online, you just have to be cautious and careful about it. Good luck.

Mayb U should take a friend to go shopping w/ U 2 a new mall, coffee shop. Take little trips on the weekend 2 a different town to try a new grocery store, car wash, gas station, etc. That's how U sometimes meet some1, when Ur not looking they're helping U pick up Ur clean sweater U dropped in the parking lot while leaving the laundrymat.

churches,library,sporting events are a way of meeting new people.. ask friends if they could help . I would watch out for those dating site set-ups I just don't trust them .

you need to get out! how old are your kids? go to a playgroup. take them to library time. join pta... my town is tiny too. it really sucks! it's hard for me too but it's not impossible.
