If he's about to sneeze (and can feel it building up) then he should stare at a bright light (obviously not TOO bright or sneezing will be the least of his problems!) It stops you from sneezing! It does work...bout 50% of the time. God knows how though!
Failing that, make him sit in the garden. At least you wont be able to hear him!!

Know if you suffer from "sun sneezing." If you find that you sneeze when exposed to bright lights, you could have photoptarmosis, or the photic sneeze reflex. It's present in a remarkable 18-35% of people and is sometimes referred to as ACHOO - Autosomal dominant Compelling Helio-Ophthalmic Outburst syndrome. The more you know, right? It's hereditary and can be treated with antihistamines if it's really, really inconvenient.[2]
Otherwise, wear sunglasses (polarized, especially) or scarfs. If bright lights (or the sun) are present, keep your eyes away and focus on something darker or more neutral. This is doubly important if you are operating a motorized vehicle.
Maybe looking into a bright light won't be the most ideal way in which to deal with it...

Sneezing is a reaction to the sinus's being invaded by a foreign smell so try blowing your nose to rid it of whatever it is making the problem and use something like obas oil on a handkerchief it will help the nasal cavity to sweat a little which will dilute the invader.

Um, wow, so you are going to kick him out for sneezing, something he cannot help? That's, um, yeah.....
The only way I know is to take allergy meds and find out what in the house is causing this. Is it new flowers, perhaps? An animal? Maybe some new perfume or cologne, heck even new carpet fresh powder will do it. Just try to think if there is anything there now that wasnt before this started.

Sounds like an allergy, not a cold so I would stop the lemsip. It could be an allergy to a pet (if you have one) dust, feathers (maybe if you have feather bedding) Try an antihistamine.

sounds like he's allergic to something. he needs an antihistimine and if that's not helping he should see a dr so he can get something for it. that has to be an annoying feeling. how about trying one of those air filter purifiers...it would clean the air and maybe take whatever is bugging him so much out of the air.

identify what triggers him then get rid of it. Take anti-histamines to relieve his symptoms. If it gets worse, see a doctor.
