Good and bad both !!!-- dont be surprised. The chewing gum that the kids keep on chewing which contains sugar is DEFINITELY bad for their teeth. However, there are some sugar-free chewing gums also available in the market which are beneficial for your dental health. The chewing of sugar-free chewing gums after taking meals stimulates the flow of saliva which helps in flushing out any remnants lying in remotest nooks and corners of your oral cavity. That prevents you from developing dental cavities. As a matter of fact, these sugar-free chewing gums contain artificial sweetners...which probably satisfies your sweet tooth without posing any danger to your teeth ! So, happy chewing....But not the ones containing sugars!!

Both. It's good because it keeps the brain working. Some of the teachers back in middle school would tell us to chew gum when taking a test. (even tho its against the rules) And its bad because it can cause you to have cavities. I chew it every now and then, but don't make it a habit.

Chewing gum increases circulation to the brain and makes you think faster. People who chew gum during tests do better then those who don't.
On the other hand, chewing gum can sometimes annoy the people around you and make your jaw tired.
It really depends on the situation I think.

good or bad tasting? i think it tastes good. The sugar in chewing gum is bad for your teeth because it sits there for a while, but on the good side when you chew gum your body thinks your eating so it boosts your metabolism which helps you lose weight.

it is actually good for you in many ways like they say chewing gum stimulates the brain which is good for kids taking a test. it's also good for your teeth because it pulls junk off your teeth, and it freshens the breath, a dentist invented gum.

Bad-
1) Sugar is cavity causing
2) Suction of gum on fillings causes weakness and pulls on them abnormally.
3) If I catch you spitting gum on my sidewalk or walking space, I'd knock your teeth out anyway

both good and bad. good coz contains sugar, stimulating if used for less time, may clean your tooth.
It does more bad than good as sugar will eventually be bad for tooth, if chewed for longer time will give you tired jaws and above all it will definitely bring the air-borne microbes and dust to close vicinity of your alimentary canal ( If you are going to blow it out)
