You should probably talk to someone about this. It's kind of unusual, I've never heard of anyone eating only oatmeal. But you need to get other nutrients in your diet...vitamin C, protein, omega-3, and the list goes on. If this is all you've been eating you have major nutrient deficiencies. You should slowly add more foods back into your diet.If you want to continue eating oatmeal, fine, but have some fruit at breakfast, have a slice of meat and cheese at lunch, some vegatables at dinner, and so on. You can't live the rest of your life on oatmeal.

It sounds like your doctor is right you should see a professional. Not only is eating nothing but Quaker Oats odd it is also very unhealthy. You are not getting the proper minerals and vitamins.
You may have a form of OCD and this can be treated.Did something happen a year and a half ago that may have triggered this behaviour? Please go and see someone before you damage you health any more than you have.

I hav been using Quaker Oats as a face scrub for some time. I never ever felt an urge to dunk it into hot milk and chomp it down with a spoon...

You have an eating disorder. Follow your doc's advice and go see a shrink. There is probably some underlying psychological reason as to why you would want to subsist on such a boring regimen. I'm amazed that your physical health isn't suffering as a result. Do yourself a favor and get help right away. Good luck!

I can't understand your question, really, but your doctor is right if she said that you need something else in your diet other than oats.
