What would you do if you was my friend that smokes and drinks and your parents didn't know about it. Would you ground them or not and why or why not?

Well, if I was her parent, she would be in a much worse situation than grounding.
Many people in my family smoke. I realize that it is a horrible habit that is dangerous, but many of my family members started before such information was widespread. I would use the worst possible punishment for the person because smoking is a habit that will inevitably kill her, lessen her ability to think and to live happily. Not only that, but it drains the pocketbook. Many smokers spend over $5000 annually on cigarettes! A lot of money!

Well, if I was your friend, I can't ground you. I would talk to you and tell you that I care about you and I don't want you to get sick or hurt or do something stupid and that should give it up. I would point out signs, like if your getting drunk. I would grab the bottle throw the rest in the sink, through the bottle away and grab the rest of the bear bottles and hide them or take me with me so you would drink anymore. I would remind you you'll never find have a boyfriend with breath like that. And I would automatically tell your parents if you make no effort to stop.
If I was your parent, I would take you to and form school, I wouldn't buy any sort of alcohol, and wouldn't let you go places until I was absolutely sure you wouldn't do any of those things. If it takes until your 25 and a full grown adult, I'll do it. I'd love my children enough to do that.
