One thing you have to keep in mind that you should be sincere,should not tell lies.If you will try to be polite and to help others you might find true friends.
One thing is sure only Lucky ones get true friends,otherwise selfishness is every where.

Normally all those that wish to have friends will be open and this will be seen particularly when they give both their email and IM accessibility.
IF they are interested they will respond ... otherwise move on. It is worth getting some friends on the net too for net friendship has its own advantages over conventional friendships.

Unfortunately its trial and error... Sometimes you luck out and make a connection, friend or romantic that is true, but more often than not you dont hear from the person after a few months.

From my experience you can join somebodies my space but make some friends no way. Friends you can made in real life. You for them - they are for you. Net is just fiction or some playground.

well,,,good friends were never made,,they just become good friends.
i never MADE friends on the net,but my few ones are all true,u know god just sends them,u'll just meet them ,maybe by an answer u like or sumthing..u just have to wait n hope...
