i don't have a very powerful p.a.system the amp is only a 120watt and it feedsback. when i am using micscan anyone help?

Without a special feedback cancelling system it is hard to avoid feedback is some instances. The number one rule in PA system setup is that the microphone is always BEHIND the speaker, and the speaker must face AWAY from the microphone. Second, you should use a directional microphone, one that is much less sensitive to sounds from the rear. Microphone specs will indicate whether the mike is omni or uni directional. A common unidirectional mike is called a "cardoid". Finally, keep the gain of the system to the minimum level that will work; if you hear any tendency to squeal, turn it down.
