Tomato Soup
Ingredients
Preparation Time: 20 mts.
Cooking Time: 25 mts.
Serves / Makes: 10 people
Ingredients 6 medium sized Tomatoes
1 1/2 medium sized Onion
1 medium sized Red juice Carrot
100 gms. Red Pumpkin
4-5 Garlic flakes
1 nos. Bay Leaf
1 tbsp butter
1/4tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper Powder
1 small piece – Dalchini or cinnamon stick
2-3 small green Elaichi or Cardamoms
1 tsp – Sugar
4 cups – water
4-5 slices – bread
Oil for frying
Method
Roughly cut the Tomatoes, Onions, Carrot, Red Pumpkin, and Garlic.
Roughly crush the small cardamoms and the cinnamon stick.
Put in Red chilli powder, salt, sugar and 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 10 mts.
Let the pressure from the cooker release on its own and allow it to cool down.
Meanwhile cut the bread slices into small cubes and deep fry them in the oil.
Place the fried wonton on a tissue or simple newspaper to remove excess oil.
Blend the tomato mixture in a blender or liquidizer to form a puree.
Strain the puree to remove the seeds, skin etc. to form a thick red puree.
Heat a Kadai then add butter and then add immediately the bay leaf for a second.
Now add the puree in the kadai with 2 cups of water allow it to boil.
Meanwhile adjust the salt and pepper as per taste.
Yummy and Healthy Tomato Soup is ready to be served.

Good Old Tomato Soup
Ingredients:
500 gms. tomatoes ripe
2 tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 cups water
1 bayleaf
1/4 tsp. cinnamon-clove powder
1/4 tsp. red chilli powder
1/4 tsp. cumin powder
1 tsp. butter
1/2 tbsp. plain flour
1 clove garlic
Method:
Pressure cook the tomatoes (about 2 whistles suffice).
Blend till smooth. Strain to remove seeds and peels.
Heat butter in a pan, add the bayleaf, garlic (whole) and fry for a few seconds.
Add tomato puree. Stir. Dissolve the flour in a little water till smooth.
Add the flour paste, stirring continuously, bring to a boil.
Add the seasoning, salt and sugar.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Serve hot with bread croutons, a swirl of fresh cream, and pepper.
Making time: 15 minutes (excluding time for cooling cooker)
Makes for : 4
Shelf life: Fresh piping hot

Cream of Fresh Tomato Soup
2 lrg tomatoes chopped
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 tsp white sugar
salt
ground black pepper
2 tbl butter or margarine
2 tbl all-purpose flour
2 cup milk
1. Simmer tomatoes, onions, sugar, and salt and pepper. Once onions are soft, strain. Set liquid aside.
2. In a saucepan, melt the butter or margarine. Stir in the flour. Whisk in the milk, and cook until thickened. Slowly add the reserved tomato liquid, and gently heat. Serve hot.

Tomato Soup
8 med Ripe tomatoes cored, coarsely chopped
2 cup Chicken broth
Basil leaves, for bouquet garni
2 whl garlic cloves, for bouquet garni
3 tbl Tomato paste
1/4 cup Sour cream for garnish
Snipped chives
In a nonreactive saucepot, combine the tomatoes with the broth bouquet Garni and bring to a simmer. Cook covered over low heat for 15 minutes.
Remove bouquet Garni from the soup and pass it through a sieve. Return the sieved mixture to the saucepan and whisk in the tomato paste; simmer until heated through or boil down until the desired consistency. Season to taste with salt and pepper and garnish with sour cream and chives if you wish.
Yield: 4 servings

Put some cut tomatoes in a cooker put in some salt and cardamom.Two tea spoons of washed moong cereal,one piece of brinjal.After boiling for 15 minutes mash the material in mixi.and sieve the same the soup is ready .add salt etc to taste.

I have to grant RICNNL the best answer.
I'm lazy... I simply open the can of Campbell's Tomato soup and heat it... top with oyster crackers and serve the a grilled Cheddar Cheese sandwich.

get a food proccesor or blender and buy 3 pounds of green house or organicly grown tomatoes. set your food blender or proccesor on chop. chop all and put in bowl,set aside. find cast iron frying pan add four tabelspoons of salted butter and set to simmer. add 3 ounces of finely chopped basil and parsley. add 1 red onion ( finely chopped) and simmer until tender. add your bowl of tomatoes and cover tightly. transfer all to 4 quart stock pot. simmer at medium heat for 30 minutes ( tightly covered. ) add 2 cans of tomato paste and one bottle of v8. add six cups of water.uncover and simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionaly. add one quarter cup of jack daniels burbon and 2 tablespoons of old bay.continue to cook on medium heat and add 1 cup heavy cream. turn soup to low. cook for 15 minutes. place in serving bowl and garnish with fresh parsley. let sit for 5 minutes and serve. Bon Appetite! ps you may add pepper and parmesean cheese if desierd.

open can put in small sauce pan. add 1 can milk. heat until boiling. poor in coffee mug. put a dollop of cream cheese on top. garnish with rosemary. serve with slices of baguette. yum
