Speaking from the other side of the story...if she doesn't know that you are gay, then start by coming out to her. You can make your next call from her reaction. I know for me that a lot of people assume I'm gay because I have a lot of gay friends and I'm not so in to dating. But when my best friend (who is gay) told me that she liked me more than just a best friend, and I just didn't feel the same, it made things awkward. Good news is it didn't ruin the friendship, and she eventually moved on and had a fantastic girlfriend who liked her back.

If you are in love with her then you should tell her how you feel! Sometimes its harder not to know the truth, than to know the truth and just not like it. But anyway, if she is a true friend, even if she doesn't feel the same way about you, the relationship you have now wont change. If it doesn't work out it's not the end of the world you'll find someone else, someone you'll love even more. Trust me! It'll all work out for the best!

If you love her the way you say you do then take that chance. But be prepared she may not feel the same way and you might loose her as a friend all together.

If you don't try, you won't know.

Guys have to do it all the time with girls whom are friends. Those are the chances in life that define who we are.

As long as she isn't in a relationship, no harm. If she is dating a guy and you do it then that is bad. Then you are minimizing her relationship with that person.

u should tell her ur gay because if shes gay as well thats a good think and might work out if not it would be better for people to know as the longer u leave it the harder it will be
if ur gay ur friend is one of the best people u can tell if no one already knows

I'd say try flirting with her a little and see how she responds. If she freaks out, you can always apologize later or say you were "just messing with" her.

BTW - despite what some fundaMENTALists may say, being gay is nothing to be ashamed of.

Well you have already asked her, and she does not want to come clean. My suggestion is, in due time she will. you just keep being friends with her, and one day, it may all come out. But be cool for now. She may not be comfortable with herself, right now. so give her time!

if you do not tell her you will regret it, there is always the awkward moment, but if you don't try there will always be the "what might have been" you don't have to lose your friend if she is not interested, things often go back to what they were with no ill effect.
