I am getting ready to repaint my plane jane white front room. I have a couple of colors in mind but can't decide which technique (ragging, sponging, etc.) to use and which color to put on top. I can't quite visualize it and don't have a lot of money to just by thing to sample. I know I am going to use a light lavender (already have) and have planned on using a metallic silver (don't have yet). I bought a virtual program called virtual painter that I can use a picture of my front room and color the walls and accents but it doesn't let u use more than one color. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm afraid that the silver over the lavender will be to dark but that the lavender over the silver will be to lavender. I have burgundy and tan accents in the room. HELP?
