Yes. Everything happens for a reason. God is the author of life, and even before we were born, He already had made plans for us- plans which He deems would be best for us. Considering that He is God, He is far more witty than all of us combined.. He is so powerful that He already knew the decisions that we would make later on in life. He already knew things that are going to happen in our lives. All of the events in our lives are interrelated- all of these are part of His great plans for us (and for the whole of humankind for that matter)..
Often, things may only seem to be all wrong.. but in the end, we would discover that it would all work eventually for our betterment..

.Yes
Everything comes from God alone.
Everything lives by his power, and everything is for his glory. Romans 11:36

Even if we don't see the whole picture or can we figure out the reason why something happen, the reason may be down the chain effect of reasons. God allows things to happen to a person to get that person to react to do something, or to get that person to a certain stage of their life, God gives you the choice of free will, although God may do something for his reason and or yours benefit.... you always have a choice.

Yes.

Proverbs 16:4 says "God has made everything for a purpose, even the wicked for the day of evil"

Proverbs 20:24
A man's steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand his own way?

Yes, how can anything just happen for no reason.

My sister tells me that I'm wrong to think everything has to have a reason, that that's a problem of mine (maybe you'd agree with her). I'd argue that its a big problem of hers, that she thinks things just happen - for no reason. Of course her life has slotted together reasonably well, so she doesn't have to look for reasons why things have gone wrong in order to fix them (coz in her life, they don't need fixing).

Yes, only that it happens for a NATURAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL or SOCIAL reason, not for a GODLY one. I mean, it rains because of specific weather conditions. You scratch your arm because it itches. You fail an exam because you didn't study... Everything happens for a reason. But those reasons are either in nature or in your mind, or that of others.

no.

This was created so that people could deal with bad things that happen to them. It justifies it.

do people get molested, live in poverty and commit suicide for a reason? I don't believe in 'fate' like that. It is circumstance that happens whether there is a reason or not.

Some things appear random, like quantum mechanics. But there may be a reason hiding that we haven't found yet.
