I remember all my dreams for the last 10-12 months. Before I rarely remembered them. I worry that sth happened in my brain. Can it be sth like that?

Thank you so much for your answers in advance.

If you are remembering more dreams it means you are not sleeping soundly.
The brain remembers the most recent dream on arising.
If you wake up slowly in the morning you will remeber more dreams. When you wake up fast like to an alarm clock you will not remember your dreams.
Dreams are remembered in REM sleep.

So for some reason you are waking slower and sleeping lighter. Many things can cause this like diet, homones, whether you drink alcohol or take meds or even get exercise. It all works together to get you a certain type of sleep.
The worst sleep is when you drink alcohol (drugs too) or do not get any exercise.

Read this book: "Dreams" by Sylvia Browne it is excellant.

I have wondered the same thing. I can't remember every little detail but I can tell you I remember most of them. Someone once told me you will have the dream of what you were thinking before you went to sleep. I found out that was bunk. I dream about people I went to high-school with, even kindergarten. I dream of being naked in a class and trying to give a speech in front of the class and everyone was laughing. I know I wasn't thinking of them before I went to bed. In answer to your question we are both normal......(or)......maybe not. I wouldn't lose sleep over it!

It is normal and it seems that something has happened to your life( not your brain). Something has changed. As far as you'd like to remember your dreams and think about them, you can remember them completely. This is really good. You may write them down or draw pictures. If you like, you can send them to me for analysis. Good luck!

it is definitley normal to remember all your dreams, especially when they are very vivid, very strange, and/or you think about when you wake. i remember dreams i had from 5 years ago (i was running from a dinosaur into a bathroom where the tooth fairy meets me and takes my tooth, saving me from the dinosaur). it certainly is normal. don't be worried, unless it's accompanied by urination, night sweats, screaming, etc....basically don't worry until things that are abnormal AND bad start happening.
