Nobody wants a bible lesson when they log onto Y!A. If you want to get a point accrossed, keep it simple. People might actually read it. Nobody is impressed that you can reference everything you say to a literary work.

Congratulations if you can. Why don't you just leave your email with a note inviting questions about references?

I never answer questions that contain any more then 6 lines of text, or those that give a link to go to.

That's not true. They give it a thumbs down because they don't agree with what was written. Why don't not worry about how people answer the questions here. What ever it takes to answer a question thoroughly,even if it turns into a sermon. If you dont like it, then you dont have to read it.

There are no short cuts in life my dear. All you need to know about life is in the KJV bible. IF you have never ending problems in life, it's because you choose to go at life on your own with out God's help and guidance.

And do people realize that voting for "best answer" is a hugely biased activity with virtually no meaning? How many people simply vote for "answer 2" just to get the one point and move on to the next voting opportunity?

Yes, but the problem is that some questions cannot be fully and thoroughly answered in two lines. What's the right thing to do, then?

I don't like Cut and Paste when used on Occasions like that.
Would be usefull in Third World Countrys, I don't like'm on this site.

Agreed, I hate the cut and pasters that leave paragraph upon paragraph of none sense.

yea it's annoying...sometimes even long questions can be annoying too

cut and paste a few sentences and then leave the link so anyone who wants to know more can just go to the site!
