Rice Pudding - My Nan always made it when I was unwell
Heinz tomato soup with a cheese sandwich cut into triangles - My Mum gave me this when I wasn't feeling well and needed cheering up.
Frozen square Shepherd's pies warmed with loads of HP sauce
Unbaked Cake mix , just had to lick the bowl and spoon when my Nan was baking (which was just about daily !)
Invalid Butter toffee bought by the quarter, can't find this any more
I could go on and on, good question though :0)

Broccoli jogs my memory of the Bush relatives, so definately no longer. Corn on the Cob with Butter and Tajin, that must be good. Baked Potato with Butter and Sir Francis Bacon, must be good additionally.

Mom did skillet fried chicken and milk gravy well. We had a pot roast every Sunday, and Mom would fry potatoes and onions, and then put the roast leftovers in it.
For a treat, we would have cream of tomato soup, and a toasted cheese sandwich.
My favorite was putting homemade frosting inbetween two graham crackers. Mom made her chocolate frosting with coffee for the liquid, it made it very rich. Dad liked vanilla. Freshly made, the crunchy crackers squished the frosting out, and when left, the grahams would soften up, and be squishy them selves. Yum, think I need to go make some now.
Mom made salmon loaf, and used cream of mushroom soup, undiluted, for a sauce.

Mm mm! My favorite dish as a child was my moms home made mashed potatoes. No one can make them better than her. All you have to do is just cook them mash them add some potatoe skins and butter and some cheese. Yummy!!

My Gran used to make me porridge before I went to school when I was about 5/6 years old...she used to put milk round the edge and put a smiley face of sugar on the top!!! Also her homemade biscuits that had custard powder in them...can't remember what she called them now.
I do now....melting moments...by GOD they were good...!!!!!
