We had an outside black lab. We had our wedding reception in our new house. All of our stuff was there, the guest book, the feather pen, the leftover bells and bubbles, photos, etc... Well, some neighbors were supposed to come over and feed and water the dog while we were on our honeymoon. Outside. Apparently, they locked the dog IN the house for a couple days while they went away! We had an indoor cat too, and the two of them destroyed everything in the house. Chewed up the guestbook, shoes, everything. Thankfully, the wedding dress and suit were in the closed closet of our bedroom.

Dug up my 15 bush rose garden after chewing through the gate to gain access. Destroyed a mattress, a recliner and too many shoes to count. Very, very bad doggie in her puppy hood.

Two years ago my Anatolian Shepherd took my brand new, self lighted, 7 foot christmas tree out the dog door in pieces. Well, mostly, when I got home the base was wedged in the dog door.

A Rottweiler I had once went upstairs & chewed/shredded an antique Native American blanket I had on a bed in a spare bedroom that a former boyfriend had given to me. It was really out of character for her (she was way past the pup/adolescent chewing thing) & strange she went upstairs by herself - but I think my husband was secretly pleased with her! ; )

My chocolate lab chewed the bathroom countertop, I mean huge chuncks. It was military housing too so they weren't too happy with us. He also chewed up some of my brand new bras....grrr... Then my beagle pounced on a parakeet I had bought a few weeks ago. Up intil then she just left it alone, but all of a sudden...poof... and feathers went everywhere. My bird wasn't hurt, but had a bald spot on his head for a few weeks, it was so funny looking!

That is bad. I have such a good dog but he is a pain. He eats kitty poo from the litter box as if I don't feed him enough. So I scoop constantly so that he doesn't do that. But overall he is a very good dog and I love him lots.

I have pitbulls and if you are a pit bull lover you know how they love to chew things up. well when we first moved into our apt we got 'redd'. he was treated very badly by the previous owners. anyway one day we came home to find our bedroom carpet had been destroyed. not only that he scratched thru the door that leads into the bedroom and the closet door. mind you that we were not supposed to have pets either. It was a nightmare!
