If your In the UK speak with your Dr / GP and ask for ZINERYT
its excellent it helped me big time when I was 15 and nearly complettly cleared it up
Its sort of an antibiotic lotion you rub on your face but it is only prescribed and connot be purchased over the counter.
I got acne again since I stopped using it and started to take it again now and its cleared back up.
You will notice it take effect within 5-7 days

By Yamanouchi.
Laurence B has one of the best outlooks.
Sweets and Chocoltae have nothing to do with this as proven by documentaries I have watched on Discovery channel.
Acne is bacteria which is getting clogged in your pores, normally thru sweat but has a big impact on streess.
Stress causes a natural chamical reaction which acts as great food source for bacteria that causes acne.
Hence why one night you dont have a spot on your face and the next morning you might have.
Washing your face often gets rid of the natural oils on your skin that keep the moisturised. by doing this your skin will create twice as much oil and cause blockages in your pores.
Clarasil, never worked for me and is more of a commercial product. You will find commercial over the couter products are always weak to prevent people getting side effects which they have no one to turn to and to prevent being sued.
Again Zineryt Highly recomended.
Dont wash Zineryt off but allow the antibiotic to work on the surface of your face/
Try avoid stressful situations, eat regularly at regular times as this can cause subconcious stress on your body.
Avoid coffee as this causes stress on the body.
Wash normally, dont over wash as this can dry your skin up and cause more secretion of oils.
Also stay clear for commerical products like clearasil, they dont work and can agravate the situation. Tee trea Oil excellent backteria killer but it is still a form of OIL which can cause blockages (back to square one)
Tho using cotton pads and an alcohol product before using zynerit can trully help clear your pores

Your GP can prescribe the best thing for your type of skin, whether it be a lotion, an antibiotic cream or tablets. Watch out for tablets with tetracycline in them they can take the colour out of your teeth if your on them long term. I found this out many years after I'd stopped taking them that this was the reason for my teeth changing colour. No one tells you this when they prescribe them to you so be careful, wash your face and body regularly but don't go overboard as you don't want to wash away too much of the bodies natural oils as this will only lead to dry skin. It's a case of trial and error, what might work for someone else may not work for you and vice versa. Your local Pharmacy or Chemist may help you with advice and treatment too so don't be afraid to ask.

inexpensive solutions:
don't eat chocolate, eat fruits for sweets instead
get some EPSOM SALT from any pharmacy or pharmacy department, and (DON"T EAT IT) put a cup of it in nice very warm bathwater and soak in it, It cleans out your pores and kills germs too.
use good old-fashioned, "coal-tar soap", it kills germs and cleans pores even better than more expensive, fancy, advertised brands
use those OXY type products, like with benzoyle peroxide ingredients
and / or any "cleanser" or "scrub" with "TEA-TREE oil" in it
always use a fresh wash-cloth, and fresh towel,
put it in the laundry after one use. Don't re-use it before laundering it.
Drink TEA
its good for this too:
Get some information from www.naturalacneremedy.com
"Green tea has proved to be anti-bacterial that reduces inflammation, decreases hormone activity, capable of killing the potentially deadly Staphylococcus Aureus and the bacteria that cause Bacterium acne.
Green tea's antioxidants have been shown to be highly beneficial to acne prevention. These antioxidants help your body to fight against free radicals that cause damage to cells and tissues in your body. Green tea therapy is less toxic and has fewer or no side effects as compare to other drug based products.
In an independent study, Dr. Gan-Wong in 2003 reported to the American Academy of Dermatology that the results in treating acne were the same when he compared a green tea cream with having 3% of green tea, to a 4% Benzoyl Peroxide solution. Therefore, the natural anti-bacterial properties of green tea can be effective to treat acne. This herbal acne treatment is available in the form of green tea cream. Green Tea with Honeysuckle is often known as 'Pimple Tea' in China. It also aids digestion and helps to detoxify your system when drunk after a meal and getting rid of the toxins prevent acne.

Defiantly avoid unhealthy food because your body needs healthy vegetables and fruits and lots of water to stay healthy. also excercise so you can clease your body instead of making break out in bacteria acne. try washing your face as soon as it gets sweaty and keeping it dry and oil free with an oil free face wash and clearisil medication with benzyl peroxide.
