I believe in GOD as there is proof of HIS existance for me. all I have to do is look at the wonders and glories in the Heavens and on the earth, but this would not satisy nor convince others which is fine. everyone has the free will and right to decide for themselves and I have enough to take care of myself without worrying about
" converting others " to my ways of thinking.

I think that if you took out the word God, a term taken from a barbarian Germanic tribe called the Goths, who invaded Rome in the 4th century and use a more scientific, mathematical, UNITING term like the ONE, you would reach more people. I think that we all believe in the ONE-ness of all of LIFE and the UNI (meaning ONE) VERSE. Even if we exist in a MULTIVERSE, there is still a UNIVERSE that UNITES THE MULTIVERSES.

The Term God, has come to mean something that is very Mythic and can only believed if you put your "reason" or you "logic" on hold because of the "questionnable" contradictory material assigned to the ONE or GOD. The HOLY BOOKS of all religions run red with blood and hate and contradictions and fantasies that border on the "psychotic".

Physicists for the last century have been trying to come up with a "TOE" or Theory of Everything" so as to give us a formula that would show that the Universe is ONE. So far they are at String theory or M theory with 10, 11 or 26 Dimenisions. Cyborg believes in 8, and 24 dimensions...(maybe 11 if it means 7 and 4)

God the Father is only used by the Christians. (notice no females) Catholics believe in the Trinity or three persons in ONE God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the HOLY GHOST. (notice again no females, but a "ghost" or spirit and a Male). The ONE does not have that problem!! Muslims use Allah. Jews use Yahweh and Elohim. Natives use the GREAT SPIRIT, the MANITOU, etc.... The are all ONE!!! and the SAME, the CREATOR

The ONE is numeric (mathematical, scientific, and intellectual). The ONE is not "gender based" and is NEUTRAL

ALL (Creation) can be in the ONE (GOD) ... women, animals, plants, crystals, even Aliens.

The word God has two closed sounding consonnants (matter) enclosing one vowell (energy)
The word ONE has two open sounding vowells (energy or Spirit) nurturing or creating or enclosing one closed sounding consonnants (matter or the UNIVERSE)

The ONE is very Mathematical. When ONE is with any other number, that number has MORE energy and/or Matter.
When ONE is multiplied by any number, the number does not change and is still free to stand alone. ONE does not Force anyone to "believe" as ONE just IS and does not NEED anyone to believe in it or not.

ONE IS SOMETHING....ZERO (Buddhism) is NOTHING or Emptiness. Cyril believes that there is SOMETHING out there and that you are not a movie or a figment of the Cyborg's "imagination".

ONE does not created arguments as TWO (MIND)....TWO is always polarized and God is of the Mind of a Warring Tribe from Northern Europe the Goths.

Let's start creating peace in the World...

OTHER names for God: UNITY, the SOURCE, THE ALL, THE FORCE...We can be creative in our divisions ....but in the end...

We are ALL ONE.....

can't use the old proving a negative thingie. the real problem is not God, but all the various and differing beliefs that cause the world most of it's problems. the dogma of each can be so opposite to another to render the whole thought of a single God to be quite unattainable. if the main reason for wanting to believe in God is to make us better people, why not just do good works? or is it the life ever after part. if so, you are just buying insurance of a different kind at the collection plate.

Of course I do. I see His wonderful creations every day. I wouldn't even want to try to prove He is not real. People have been doing that for thousands of years with no success. God be with those who don't believe and think that some science proves them right.

There is no way to prove that god exists, or that god does not exist, as doing so would require visiting every centimeter of the Universe and demonstrating that god does not exist there. We can't visit the entire Universe. It is logically impossible to prove any non-existence.

Therefore, the question of god's existence is considered not falsifiable ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falsifiable ). Therefore, the entire question is unscientific and irrelevant. It's much the same question as to the existence of invisible flying elephants around us. Lacking proof, the scientific attitude is skepticism, which assumes something is false until proven to be true. Therefore, it is assumed that god does not exist but this is not a fact.

This idea is called nontheism. Check it out (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nontheism ).

Reality is perceptual, perceived by the mind.

All perceptions are discrete yet connected to the whole totality of Reality. That means Reality is the result of a unity, more specifically, it is a unity of consciousness. That means when a perception takes place, the "essence" of the perception is a "conscious, real event", invariably connected to the totality.

One may try to "atomize" the perception, attempting to break it down into a simple aggregate of localized component parts, for example, as required by a materialistic "classical reality" theory. But if Reality is not a unity of consciousness then it is an assemblage of discrete "mutually exclusive" non-conscious parts.

But Reality cannot be separated from Reality, because that creates a contradiction.

Reality must be a consequence of a coherent and conscious unity of perception.

Yes I believe. No I cannot prove. All I can say is I am alive, I am blessed with many talents and wonderful people surround me. In light of that I need no other proof.

I don't believe in god.

Nobody can prove the non-existence of anything... can you prove to me that pink-winged unicorns aren't real? Just because one can't disprove something doesn't make it real by default.
