Hey Sound....It sounds like it could be a couple of things...Any one, or a combination of one or more...
Check your leads to speaker's first..are they pos to pos, neg to neg..etc.. Check to see if the runs are freyed anywhere as well...
Are you trying to run any other speaker's besides the ones you stated?...That could unbalance the impedience load..if so. disconnect...
Have you grounded your amp properly?
Check the impedience load of your speaker's and amp...do they match? 4 ohms...8 ohms etc..Make sure they match...
Most likely, it's caused by some sort of miss match....Good luck...Yukoneze

If your Alpine subs are 2-ohm dual voice, then you'll need another identical amp to be able to push them. If they're 4-ohm dual voice coil, stop trying to bridge them into your amp. Run each sub on one channel, with the voice coils paralleled, which will give you a 2-ohm load on each channel.
Oh, and if you've got a single channel amp, you'll need two of them, if your subs are 4-ohm dual voice coil, and four of them, if your subs are 2-ohm dual voice coil. Of course, you could always wire the subs in series, which will give you a much higher impedance, which your amp will be able to handle. You just won't get alot of sound.

Maybe there is a short circuit in one of your speakers and it is the protection circuit coming on to protect the amp. Does the speakers work? Is there any strange noise from them that doesn't belong.?? Try some other speakers, just to see if it isn't the amp..

It`s wired up wrong for sure! Try stripping out everything and start over! And pay attention to detail.
