I feel like a horses patoot.. Umm I meant like a horizontal line in the actual document. It's wacked out =X

Go up to VIEW on the top menu and unclick RULER.

I have seen this before. HEre is what I did. 1. Open a new document. 2. In the original document, highlight the text from the beginning UP to the horizontal line. 3. Hit COPY 4. Go to the new document and hit PASTE 5. Go back to the original, and highlight everything AFTER the horizontal line and hit COPY 6. finally, hit PASTE in the new document. 7. USE SAVE AS with the new document. If you want to use the same file name, then CLOSE the original first. but I would use SAVE AS to create an original copy. It's not about what or why, it's about FIXING IT. Good luck

just simple
click the main menu for view check out fo ruler option in it. just deselect the check mark. This makes the ruler move off.

go to tools & deselect the ruler .
