Christians, you demand proof of evoution, yet when asked to provide proof of god, you get angry, why?

Question

Every time you ask for proof of Evolution, we provide it for you. Ample sources, literally millions of pages of peer-reviewed documentation and even thousands of examples of transitional fossils that you claim don't exist.

Yet when we ask for some evidence, not even proof, of the existence of god, you accuse, you yell, you obfuscate and then change the subject?
Could it be that there IS evidence and proof of Evolution, yet none to support the existence of god? Of course it is, and deep down you know it.
And I mean actual PROOF, so inane platitudes and quotes from an irrelevant book of bronze age jewish mythology do NOT count as proof.

You have gotten a few excellent answers and some of the "inane platitudes" that you asked people not to write.
The Christians cannot resist, it is what they are good at and it is all they know.
Someone needs to explain to that one girl that the "Big Bang Theory" is not the same as evolution. They need to get their facts straight. But then that would be asking a great deal.
Evolution, if they bothered to educate themselves about it, is a great deal more than "poof and there was man". They are purposefully ignorant. I think that they feel that learning about evolution would show a lack of faith and faith is all they have. If you take their "blind faith" away from them they would have nothing left but an old book that does not make any sense.

Now to answer your question that you say us christians tries to avoid, You have found One Christian that will not avoid it, Now let's talk about evolution just a few minutes, To a certain point, there is evolution, like a Tadpole turns into a frog, & a larva turns into a butterfly or moth, & a bird egg & eggs itself turns that into a bird or chicken , But now for Mankind & womankind evolving from a Monkey Or some slimmy fish or worm out of a muddy pond, Show me the absolute facts, Because We still have many monkeys & tapdpole & slimmy worms that forgot to evolve, & you should go to the Jungle & tell those Monkies & apes & also those slimmy creatures That they did not evolved as you stated, Maybe they don't know about it yet, Or maybe you don't know anything about creation, Now I want absolute truth in your Theory, Because that is all it is, a theory. Now you want proof of God, OK, What is causing you to breathe, Not evolution, What causes the sun to come up everyday & go down, For all these millions of years, Yes I do believe in a Prehistoric time, Why because it is in the Bible if PEOPLE will take time to study instead of just read. Actually, it's the other way around. We (generally) don't ask for proof of evolution until atheists ask for proof of God. A lot of Christians have difficulty explaining their faith because the proof of His existence comes as a private communication from God. We are all sinners and get frustrated when we feel that we are being attacked so some of us just ask the same question back. The lack of skills and understanding of each other's principals along with a closed mind inhibit intelligent discussion between people of differing philosophies.

A growing number of scientists are coming to the conclusion that the complexity of the evolved universe(s) big-bang and all show that there has to be God. Likewise a great number of Christians believe that God created evolution. We just don't think that we are the product of evolution. We agree that natural selection is enhancing our genetic makeup, but we came into existence as homo-sapiens by a miracle of God.

Let me ask you something legitimate. You want us to study what you believe. And we do. Why don't you study what we believe? How many atheists actually read the Bible?

Atheist basically assert that there is not any reason the have faith a god exist or to have faith that a god exist. christians say athiest say "Atheists assert existence spontaneously generated from non-existence" while they're attempting to make strawman arguments. you may factor to no incident the place a atheist suggested this. I don't get mad; in fact, I quite enjoy seeing your futile attempt to prove a crazy theory in order to disprove the existance of a clearly almighty God.
For me, it is proof enough to see a world that is so large, yet so intricate.
Think for a moment. How could it be possible that all the galaxies in our universe... and we only know of a incredibly small fraction of them, happened to blow up from a tiny little dot.. and where did that dot come from? Did that dot have a brain that let it create itself? Now where is the brain? Did it settle on earth? There are way to many questions to your theory.
As where with creation, all the questions are answered in the Bible. And they all make perfect sense!

I do not see why belief in God has to automatically exclude evolution at least in part. I do know that if you are so strongly set in your belief against God then there is no point in stating anything else to you to try and prove because it would not be proof enough. I have yet to have anyone who is not a believer tell me what it would take to change their minds. What sort of parlor trick do you need? Because that is exactly what any attempts to prove his existence would be categorized as. I believe in God and I am happy with it. By the same token, if you are happy in your views, then I respect your right to them and will not try to change them. Please allow me the same respect to quietly serve my God as I choose without ridiculing me.

Excellent question my friend.
I think it's because what they believe is indefensible and when a person can't provide any rational, logical, or commonsense answers or explanations, in order to protect their faith they try to suppress information. You'll also notice that when they are backed into a corner they resort to "witnessing" or "Praising Jesus" to divert having to think deeply or critically about what they believe. Religion is a mindless, brainless, totally demanding way of life that does not tolerate disbelief.
What really worries them is evolution since we have proof of it and that is a major threat to blind faith. But, you will notice something that began about 10 years ago where mainstream religion is trying to adopt evolution into their belief system - they are doing this to try and maintain membership. Further evidence of the bogus nature of religion in general.
