If it was sunny all the time in the Garden of Eden, then dark skin would be more favorable to all that sunlight. White skin would just fry. But I guess olive skin would work nicely too.

Well Adam and Eve are mythological characters in a book of fiction.
If you're talking about the first homids, then yes, they were traced to africa and certianly had a good deal of melanin in thier skin.

Does it really make a difference. Just another example of how we put such importance on skin color, and I am sure that you meant nothing racial. But see how subtle it creeps in to our communication.
