i was watching mythbusters and they were talking about these criminals who made deadley weapons one was a sphere made out of newspaper and styphrophone cup for the tip it was amazing and this one guy made a silenced pistol out of plumbing parts how do they do it

they use common items issued to them by the prison.

remove the blades from a disposable razor. remove the lead from a pencils. hold the blades against the end of a toothbrush while sticking the lead in an electrical outlet. the lead will heat up and melt the plastic of the toothbrush enough to attach the toothbrush to the razor blade. you can then wrap rubberbands or strips of fabric or pieces of tape around the razorblade end to secure it a bit more or you can wrap things around the handle end to give you a better grip.........instant shank

Because they sit in jail all they with nothing to do their brains are idle. Therefore, they can think of all these brilliant ideas. Moreso, a lot of them want to get back to freedom and the women they knew. Some want to run away from the buggers too. So that's enough motivation.
