You need to talk about it & not keep it to yourself. It's been 7 years and it's still bothering you. Your parents might feel that you need counseling. Or if you're really close to your mom maybe just talking to her will help.

I think you should tell your parents. If he did this to you, what happens if he does it to someone else. I think people should be made aware of people like him. Just because he is family doesn't make it right for him to do it. He was wrong and who cares if people approach him about it. If no one ever puts him in his place, he won't ever think he's done anything wrong. You will never forget what happened, but you can ease your mind somewhat by talking to someone about it. Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

more than liekly ur family wont believe you cause it happened to me right before he got thrown in jail for some problems he did. Lets just say i dont speak to the family members who didnt believe me when i told them even though he admidted it so just tell them what happened u might get called a liar and etc or they might believe you... either way its really up to you on wether u tell them or not and think about how they may react........

i would tell. get it out in the open. you shouldn't supress your feelings any longer. it is no good to leave it all bottled up inside if you feel you are ready to tell someone. if you are unsure to tell your mom or dad, tell someone you trust, someone close to you, and they can give you their opinion about what you should do. get ready for some mixed reactions from your parents. they may or may not believe you depending on your family situation (if you are close to them or your cousin, etc.). good luck honey!

General rule, if you are still bothered enough to need to ask - you ought to tell. Your parents are always there to guide and protect you! :) things may get awkward, they wouldn't be any better if s/he were not coming over.

You should say something to your parents. But be prepared if they don't believe you or attempt to dismiss it outright as your imagination going overboard, etc. Have you considered therapy for this? Good luck and stay strong.
