Byron Nelson finished first in 19 of the 30 tournaments that he entered in 1945. He came second in 11 of the other competitions, and averaged 68.33 strokes per round. 'Mr Consistency' was never out of the money in an astonishing run of 111 successive tournaments.

The golfer you see is named Byron Nelson. There is actually a line of high end golf clothing called "Eleven Straight" that is based on the Nelson mystique. Most of the shirts have 'half-cuffs' on the sleeves, for a unique reason. Byron used to wear out the inside of his sleeves from rubbing his elbows against his side during his swing.
So he had them make the sleeves with a 'half cuff' to make them wear better. Kinda cool :)
