Yes because it is the perfect moment to stop and contemplate the passing of another day with a beautiful image to watch. Unless u live in Scotland then u usually can't c the sun for cloud or rain or both. I still try 2 watch the sunset tho however challenging it is.

I agree with Paul H, i also saw the amazing sunset tonight. Brilliantly rich colours - amazings reds and oranges with flashes of turquoise. Certainly one of the best this year. How could anyway not like the sunset? It reminds me of the poem by Gerard Manley Hopkins which starts 'Glory be to God for dappled things, for skies of coupled colour as a brindled cow'

My boyfriend and I used to meet at "our spot" to watch they sunsets together...sometimes we would make out ... just talk ...or sit there ...either way we were together and thats what made it so beautiful to me....They have put a house up in our spot but thats ok because my husband and I have a life time together to chase beautiful sunsets all over the world "together"

As I type we have a wonderful sunset over oxford. The colours are bright and vibrant, no (well not many) artist could come up with this. It is brilliant - best one we have had this year, I reckon.

Yes! It changes every day and can't be reproduced anywhere else. It also has romantic connotations.
Some look better than others, but they're always unique.
