Because the site is often used by school children who think it's 'cool' to abuse English. I hate it with a vengeance and I wish they'd bloody cut it out! But I suppose that's half the point isn't it? To upset old farts like me!!!!!!

Yes I think education standards have slipped. Bring back the basic three Rs, I say. Also agree with 'legalchild', this texting thing has created a monster as far as correct english and spelling goes.

You can laugh at me if you like, but have you noticed that the spell check does not always come up with the correct spelling either. Try it and see.
